The only negative i could say is there is a tiny chip on the counter surface of the ikea counter which i think the installer must have knicked.

When you have a longer countertop another section must be added which creates a seam. No seams under or near the sink due to swelling. Basically any plastic laminate countertop which has a special type edge is going to need to be completely replaced if water has damaged the seam area.
